Embracing the Sickness

Sounds like the title for the next Slipknot album, huh? Anyway. I know this is a temporary annoyance. I’m not suffering, so I’m not complaining. It’s the start of hurricane season. The weather has been bleak, dreary and dismal. When the rain let up for a little bit today, I went over to the Jamestown Colony site. First English settlement in America (1607). I mean, that was suffering, that was struggle, that was frustration. Among hope and growth and discovery. This settlement of 105 people led to three million in the 13 colonies at the time of the Revolution. I'm in Richmond now at a Holiday Inn with an intense Christian musical prayer revival thing going on. Things will work out.
